The Ways God Works in Our Lives

God's hand is always at work,

Guiding us through life's murk.

In pain and strife, He's our comfort,

Shepherding us with staff and rod, never to hurt.

As we walk on His path,

He guides our steps, shielding us from wrath.

His constant presence we can trust,

Even when we can't see clearly, He's just.

God supplies us with all we need,

When we're lonely, He's there to heed.

His love for us is boundless and slow to anger, 

Whispering to us, "I love you," like a sweet whisper.

We are God's masterpiece, His poetry,

Created in Christ Jesus, a work of art for eternity.

He wants our lives to be a thing of grace and beauty,

As He works in our lives, fulfilling His duty.

Let us be still and know that He is God, 

Trusting Him even when the path is hard.

For in His wisdom and love, we find peace,

And in His grace and mercy, our souls release.
