Shine: A Poem of Kindness

Kindness is a gentle breeze, 

That blows away life's unease.

It lifts us up when we are down,

And turns a frown into a crown.

It's found in the simplest things, 

Like the joy a smile brings.

A helping hand when we're in need,

A kind word to make our hearts bleed. 

It's the warmth of a hug,

The comfort of a friend's snug.

It's the empathy in their eyes, 

That tells us they hear our cries.

Kindness is a ray of light,

That makes everything alright.

It's the love that we all need,

To thrive, to grow, to succeed.

In every little word we say.
