The Beginning of Wisdom: The Fear of the Lord

The fear of the Lord, so immense and true, 

Is a relevance that is hard to construe.

It's not a matter of terror that makes us run,

But a respect that reminds us of what's to come.

He's the Mighty Creator, beyond our sight,

With blessings that unfold in His light.

We fear his wrath, but cherish His grace,

And accept the trials we must face.

The fear of the Lord is of utmost worth,

A reminder of the power of His girth.

For in obedience to His Holy Word,

We lay down our fears and trust in the Lord,

Fear the one who reigns on high,

Let His love fill our hearts and minds.

For the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,

And His light would guide us through the stormy kingdom.
